Patch Notes

Everything new in Master of Mobs — the same notes you see on the login screen and in Discord.

v0.22.0

Oct 14, 2026

New Features

  • Our brand-new website is LIVE and it's absolutely insane: Mobs marching across the front page in random hats, a slick new logo and a complete makeover from top to bottom. Go check it out at masterofmobs.com!
  • New Library on the website: guides for your first match, how a match works (with animated maps), tips for veterans of the classic game, controls, ranked, rewards and a glossary
  • Every Mob, item and rune is now on the website with its real in-game numbers, including every ability at every rank
  • New Item Builder: pick a Mob, gear it up, see your stats at any level and share the build with a link

Improvements

  • Hovering a friend in your VIP list now shows their rank in Team, Duo and Solo
  • Shorter, clearer forfeit message
  • The Hotkeys window now says "TP to Temple", the same as everywhere else

Bug Fixes

  • Critical hit chance now matches the number on your gear: low crit chances used to crit far less often than listed (10% was about 3%)
  • After a match, your Mob is back to its normal health, mana and speed in the lobby
  • Reconnecting during a match keeps the health, mana and speed you earned from levels
  • The Skills panel now counts the health, mana and speed you gain from levels
  • Mage minions now always pay their full 75 gold (they paid 40 after a server restart)

v0.21.0

Oct 13, 2026

New Features

  • Death Recap now shows what each enemy hit you with: every ability, rune, item and basic attack, plus the Mob they were playing.
  • Shop Undo: press Undo (or Ctrl+Z) for a full refund of your last purchase or sale, as long as you haven't left the shop.
  • Life and Mana Fluids now restore 200 health or mana over 30 seconds. Drinking another adds 30 more seconds.
  • masterofmobs.com has a new Download page with the latest client and older versions, plus every patch note ever released.
  • From the next update on, the client asks before updating to a new version. Saved replays usually break between versions, so you can keep an older client to watch them. Older clients can watch replays but can't log in to play.

Improvements

  • Audio now starts off, so the login music no longer blasts, and classic right-click controls are on by default.
  • The queue's game mode buttons now clearly show which modes you've picked.
  • The jewelry shop shows every piece, even ones you can't afford yet, and an empty shop list now says why.

Balance

  • Every Mob now has 75% crit damage, so crit chance items make your basic attacks crit on their own. Ability damage and guaranteed crits are unchanged.
  • Dragon Lord's Fire Breath: fields last 9s instead of 15, hit at most once a second and deal about 25% less damage. Fire Breath, Great Fireball and Fire Wave cost more mana.
  • Super minions: one per lane per wave instead of three, with about half the health and damage.
  • The Sudden Death Rune no longer needs magic level 15.

Bug Fixes

  • Boots of Haste no longer give double speed, and now lose their speed in combat as described.
  • Fire Sword, Fire Axe, Serpent Sword, Poison Dagger and Leaf Star no longer deal hidden bonus damage.
  • Spears, throwing stars and wands no longer make a ranged Mob's basic attacks miss or cost mana.
  • Hunter's Arrow Rain no longer hits or slows anyone in the lobby.
  • Shop purchases no longer end up on the floor instead of in your bag.
  • The login music no longer plays at full volume with the volume at 0.
  • Owning Ring of Healing no longer also unlocks Crystal Necklace.
  • Behemoth's Solidify tooltip and Orcish Maul's description now show the right numbers.

v0.20.0

Oct 12, 2026

New Features

  • Real-time combat: abilities, runes and tower shots now hit when the missile actually arrives, not the moment they're cast. Step out of the way and a skillshot misses you.
  • Many skillshots are now blocked by the first enemy Mob or minion in their path, so your minions can shield you.
  • Ranged basic attacks and tower bolts now chase their target and can't be dodged once they're fired.
  • Demon has a new ability, Paralyze (replacing Mana Drain): a curse that slows the first enemy it hits by 70%, and the Demon's next basic attack on them is a guaranteed critical hit.
  • 26 new ranged weapons for Hunter and Amazon: bows, crossbows, spears and throwing stars, each with its own passive or active.
  • The Old Widow's Venom Burst now marks the ground before it lands. Get out of the green!
  • Holding the Crystal Spider's mana buff now shows a blue aura that everyone can see, plus a countdown around your mana bar.

Improvements

  • Your gear and buffs now increase your ability damage and healing.
  • Jungle camps now give experience, shared with teammates nearby.
  • Walking diagonally now takes as long as two straight steps and looks smooth the whole way. Minions walk in straight lines instead of zig-zagging.
  • Behemoth's Titan Leap now lands right next to its target, and won't waste the cast if there's no room.
  • Amazon's abilities are reordered so Ricochet is her quick, cheap opener.
  • Wands and staffs are now for mage Mobs only, and marksman weapons for ranged Mobs only.

Balance

  • Heavy rebalancing across Mobs and items. Every Mob moves a little slower, so skillshots are easier to dodge.
  • Experience reworked: minion experience is now shared between nearby players, and the level cap in a match is 20.

Bug Fixes

  • Jungle camps now actually give their buffs, gold and experience, and come back after they're killed.
  • Buying gear during a damage buff no longer lets you keep the buff's damage forever.
  • Featherstep, Warcry and the Bow's speed burst now give the speed they list, instead of far more.
  • Landing a hit with a speed bow no longer frees you from slows and stuns, and bow slows no longer cancel a teammate's stun.
  • Hidden enemies no longer block skillshots and give away where they're standing.
  • Orc Berserker's Shout now slows everyone in the area it shows, and never slows allies.
  • Throwing weapons no longer break or run out, and the Umbral Master Bow and Crossbow can now be equipped.
  • Logging out while sped up by a bush no longer leaves you slower until your next login.

v0.19.0

Oct 11, 2026

New Features

  • Lobby TV: walk up to the big flatscreen in town and watch any match that's on. You'll see the score, the match clock, every player's Mob, level and KDA, and how many people are watching.
  • Your character stays in the lobby while you watch. Your chat keeps working, you keep your place in the queue, and when your own match pops you go straight back to it.
  • Everyone watching a player sees the same moment together, 30 seconds behind live. A player can be watched once they're 30 seconds into a match, and you can use /tvdelay to set how far behind people see your games.
  • Your chats, private messages and VIP list are never shown to anyone watching you.
  • Replays: turn on "Record my games" in Options and each play session is saved. Watch them again from the new Replays button on the login screen (your last 20 are kept).

Improvements

  • Stealth reworked: bushes and Vanish now follow one rule. If the other team can't see you, they can't target you, hit you or bump into you, and that includes minions, towers and item effects.
  • Casting an ability or a rune from a bush now gives you away, just like a basic attack does.
  • Stalker clones are now perfect copies. They have your name, level, colours, trinkets and health-bar notches, and no summon marker over their heads.
  • Stalker clones hide in bushes with you and vanish with you. Stand still for a second and they walk onto your tile, so step into a bush, stop, and the whole pack hides with you.
  • Bushes and Vanish now also work outside matches, where your party counts as your team.
  • Flying runes no longer leave a glow under the caster.

Balance

  • Stalker Life Steal is now melee range, and every clone next to the target still siphons too. It now heals you only for the health it actually takes, so blocked or shielded damage heals nothing.
  • Stalker Assassinate now always crits from any stealth, a bush as well as Vanish.

Bug Fixes

  • Minions and towers no longer stop attacking when a hidden Stalker clone is the closest thing to them.
  • Minions and towers now let go of a target the moment it vanishes or hides in a bush.
  • Walking onto your own Stalker clones no longer snaps your screen back.
  • Getting snared mid-step (for example by Hunter's trap) no longer freezes your character and camera between tiles.
  • Going down now removes all your summons, so Stalker clones no longer trail your ghost around.
  • Glowing effects (rune trails, fishing sparkles, Necromancer's Sudden Death, map pings) glow properly again instead of drawing dark specks.
  • Fixed a server crash and a client crash that could happen when creatures came into view.
  • Message boxes with very short text no longer cut off their buttons.

v0.18.0

Oct 10, 2026

New Features

  • Trinkets! Pick one to dress up your Mob: a hat, helmet, mask, cape, weapon or more from the whole outfit catalogue. Over 240 for the human Mobs and 110 hats for the monster Mobs, all unlocked during the alpha.
  • Customise Character has been rebuilt around the Mob you're playing: a live preview, your colours, a Trinkets tab with filters and search, and saved looks for each Mob. It updates by itself when you switch Mobs.
  • Recolour any Mob, monster Mobs included (premium): head, primary, secondary and detail, plus a trinket colour that tints all your trinkets at once.
  • Reaper's Signet: a new jewelry ring with brand-new art. Heal from your basic attacks at the cost of a little max health.

Improvements

  • Kill banners show each Mob in its own colours.

v0.17.0

Jul 29, 2026

New Features

  • The Casino is open. Find the blackjack table in town, step into a seat, and spend one Skull Coin - your hourly token - to buy in for exactly $100 in chips. Everyone starts at $100 and nobody can ever start with more. That's the whole game: how high can you run that $100 before you walk away?
  • Cash out and your chips turn back into Skull Coins. Cash out BIG - $500, or $1,000 and up - and you'll earn a separate currency that buys nothing but "casino skins." That currency is on its way; for now a big cash-out pays in Skull Coins.
  • Blackjack pays 2:1. A natural 21 is worth double.
  • It all plays out on the table itself - chips slide onto your bet square and cards fly from the dealer into your hand.
  • Don't want to play? Stand behind any seat and watch the whole table.
  • Need to step away? Take one Be Right Back per sitting and your seat is held. Sit out too many hands in a row and the table gives it to someone else.
  • Two new daily missions for gamblers: turn a $100 profit at the casino, or cash out $700 in a single sitting.
  • Shift-click anyone at the table to see their lifetime record - hands played, blackjacks, best cash-out, and exactly how far up or down they are overall.
  • This is the first thing Skull Coins actually buy. More to come.

v0.16.0

Jul 25, 2026

New Features

  • Daily Missions are live. Right-click a chalk board in town to open the Mission Chalkboard: three missions a day, the first always "First Win of the Day." Claim each one for gems, and clear all three for a bonus diamond.
  • Stuck on a mission you can't finish? Spend a single gem to reroll either of the last two slots for a fresh objective - and a fresh reward. That one gem is deliberate: it's a small, steady sink to keep gems flowing back out of the economy instead of only piling up.
  • A new batch rolls in 20 hours after you claim all three, so your missions come back a little earlier each day.
  • Skull Coins - a new permanent currency that builds up at one coin per hour you're online. Match time counts, offline time doesn't. Your balance sits in the wallet slot whenever you're out of a match, and a coin rises off you each time you earn one.
  • Skull Coins are going to buy things worth idling for: several separate lines of cosmetics to unlock, gambling for the degens, and more features on the way.
  • And that's the point of them. We'd rather you leave the game running than close it - every extra person sitting in town is a shorter queue for everyone else and a livelier place for anyone who wanders in. You don't have to be at your keyboard to be helping the server fill up.
  • Three new pieces in Orshabaal's jewelry shop: the Amulet of Loss cuts the time you spend downed in half, the Crystal Necklace adds +200 max mana, and the Ring of Healing gives mana-hungry Mobs +3 mana and +1 health per second.

Improvements

  • The jewelry shop now lists pieces cheapest-first, so the ones you can actually afford are at the top.
  • A selected queue mode now stays obviously selected when you hover it - you can tell at a glance whether a click turns it on or off.
  • The 1v1 / 2v2 / 4v4 buttons now line up flush with the Join button beneath them.
  • Every row in the Skills window highlights on hover now, not just some of them.
  • Looking at a chalk board tells you it's where your daily missions live.
  • The options menu lost a handful of leftovers that don't apply to a MOBA, and "Show floating text" now explains exactly what it controls (combat numbers, speech above heads, look descriptions - never your chat window).
  • Containers now open maximized by default, and background music starts off.

Balance

  • Protection Amulet now blunts sorcery as well as steel: +5 armor and +5 magic resistance.
  • Life Ring's sustain trimmed to +3 health and +1 mana per second, making room for the Ring of Healing as its mana-leaning counterpart.

Bug Fixes

  • Your walk keys no longer go dead after logging in, or after backing out of Ctrl+G without switching characters - the queue window was quietly stealing keyboard focus.
  • Ability hotkeys and Enter-to-open-chat no longer stop working while the matchmaking window is up.
  • Effects anchored to the world no longer blink out the moment their tile touches the edge of the screen; they scroll off cleanly with the map.

v0.15.0

Jul 17, 2026

New Features

  • The Skills window now shows your full stat sheet - including gear-only stats like Health/Mana regen, Tenacity, Armor Penetration, Attack Speed, Cooldown Reduction, Lifesteal, Spellvamp and Attack Range. Hover any stat to see its base value and exactly how much your gear is adding (or taking away).
  • Orshabaal's jewelry shop is stocked with 17 new permanent rings and amulets across three tiers - from cheap early pieces to powerful late-game gear. New effects include magic resistance (softens incoming magic the way armor softens physical), attack damage, crit, armor penetration, cooldown reduction, move speed, and health/mana sustain.

Improvements

  • Stronger jewelry now carries an honest trade-off: offensive pieces cost a little max health, and heavy defensive pieces cost a little move speed - so a bigger piece is a real choice, not a free upgrade.
  • Jewelry is now priced in a mix of gems (diamonds plus a color-matched gem for its effect), and the shop shows each gem you need alongside how many you're still missing.
  • The scoreboard now shows opponents' equipped necklace and ring, revealed under the same vision rules as the rest of their gear.
  • Health bars stay readable with 100-HP notches on tougher Mobs - now up to 1200 max HP.

Balance

  • Super minions (the reinforcements after an inhibitor falls) hit and tank a lot less - their health and damage are both cut in half - so a lost inhibitor is a setback, not a snowball.

Bug Fixes

  • Reconnecting to a match no longer leaves the scoreboard showing blank gear and runes for everyone until the match ends.
  • Fixed bushes failing to appear in arenas - fog-of-war cover now spawns reliably.

v0.14.0

Jul 15, 2026

New Features

  • Meet Orshabaal, a new merchant who sells permanent jewelry - rings and amulets bought once with gems, owned forever, and carried into every match. The opening lineup: Ring of the Sky (+10 magic), Platinum Amulet (+10 armor), Gold Ring (+75 HP), and Ruby Necklace (+100 HP). Talk to him or just click-attack him to browse.
  • Health bars now show a notch every 100 HP, so you can read any Mob's exact health at a glance instead of guessing from a fraction of a bar. Bars are also wider and easier to see.

v0.13.0

Jun 26, 2026

New Features

  • Three ways to play: Team (4v4), Duo (2v2), and Solo (1v1). Pick one or several from the lobby and queue them all at once - the first to fill pulls you into a match.
  • A new compact one-lane arena for Duo and Solo: a single turret guarding the inhibitor and core, for faster, more focused fights.
  • Your base is now a fountain - stand near your team's respawn pad to rapidly regenerate health and mana.
  • Separate skill ratings per mode: your Team, Duo, and Solo ranks climb independently.

Improvements

  • Duo and Solo pay out more to keep pace with fewer teammates farming - Duo earns double XP and gold, Solo earns double gold.
  • Reworked matchmaking panel: tap the 1v1 / 2v2 / 4v4 buttons to pick your modes, hover any one to see how many players are in it right now, then hit Join. Your picks are remembered between sessions.
  • Match History now shows the game type (Team / Duo / Solo) for each match.
  • Fishing casts look better - the rod whips forward and releases the bobber on the flick instead of both flying out at once, and nearby players see it in sync.

v0.12.0

Jun 24, 2026

New Features

  • Fishing! Between matches, cast a line on the water around the lobby and reel in a hidden chain of fish for a haul of gems - and players nearby can watch you fish.
  • Arena matches can now extend underground: a second, isolated sewer floor reached by grates and ladders, where you only see and fight what's on your own level.

Improvements

  • Hit a connection error logging in? You now get a one-click "Try Again" that keeps your details - handy when you launch a moment before the server's ready. A wrong password now keeps your email and just clears the password field.
  • Using an active item now lifts the item's icon off you in a soft glow, so you and your team can see the cast.
  • The Mob & Rune Selection screen now resizes to your window - bigger screens get more room for abilities, stats, and your depot, and long ability lists scroll instead of getting cut off.
  • Shop items now show a quick one-line stat summary right on each row, with the full description on hover.
  • After a reconnect, your ability and rune cooldowns on the bar match the server again - no more "looks ready but won't fire."

Balance

  • Armor and Magic Resistance reworked: every point now makes you ~1% tankier against that damage type (100 = half the damage taken / double your effective health), and the reduction is now exact instead of a random roll.
  • Melee Mobs can now benefit from reach gear - the Dragon Lance's +1 range lets a melee Mob strike one tile farther.
  • Stalker: Vanish has a longer cooldown and shorter duration.
  • Necromancer: Death Tunes (ultimate) cooldown greatly increased.

Bug Fixes

  • Demon and Dragon Lord's Great Fireball can no longer be cast past its shown range.
  • A Mob downed the instant a match ended is no longer left frozen and invisible back at the temple.
  • The end-of-match scoreboard now shows the Mob you actually drafted and played, not your pre-draft pick.

v0.11.0

Jun 19, 2026

Improvements

  • The ability range box and crosshair targeting got a big overhaul - aiming a Mob ability feels far more premium and useful now. The range box and highlighted target tiles dim the moment a cast is out of range, low on mana, or on cooldown, so one glance tells you whether it'll land. (You'll be able to turn the overlay off entirely by preference in a future update.)
  • Casting any ability or rune now briefly dims your whole spellbar and aim box for the shared one-second cooldown between casts, so you can see the instant you can act again.
  • The Mob & Rune Selection screen got a full redesign: the Mob roster now spans the top of the window, with a clean Stats | Abilities | Runes layout below. Stats are now color-coded icon rows (HP, mana, attack, magic, armor, resist, crit, speed) that match your in-game HUD.
  • Mob portraits in the picker are now sized and framed per Mob, so big or tall Mobs (Dragon Lord, Behemoth, Demon) fill their tiles properly and their name never hides behind the artwork.

Balance

  • Demon: tankier but slower - gains armor and magic resistance, now moves at a slow pace.
  • Behemoth: gains armor and magic resistance.
  • Dragon Lord: now moves at standard speed (up from slow).
  • Amazon: starts with less mana.

Bug Fixes

  • The one-second cooldown between any two casts is now exact - before, casting late in a second could let you fire again almost instantly.

v0.10.0

Jun 18, 2026

New Features

  • Aiming a Mob ability now draws a range box around you and lights up the exact tiles it'll hit, tracking perfectly as you move - and dims when you're out of range or low on mana, so you know at a glance if a cast will land.
  • Ability tooltips got a color-coded makeover everywhere - the Mob & Rune Selection panel, the spellbar hover, and the level-up "+" popover all spell out damage, scaling, cooldown, range and effects per rank, and the "+" previews exactly what your next skill point upgrades.

Improvements

  • Mob Selection now shows role badges (archetype, attack range, damage type) with hover details plus a base stats readout - and ranged Mobs list their exact range, e.g. "Ranged (5sq)".
  • Rebinding a rune key now updates the Mob & Rune Selection window instantly.
  • Behemoth's Solidify and Black Knight's King's Blessing now last longer the more you rank them up.

Balance

  • Ranking up an ability now also raises its mana cost - stronger ranks hit harder but cost more to cast.
  • Demon: Great Fireball is now a shorter-range poke with much weaker magic scaling; the Energy Beam ultimate's cooldown is way up (no more near-spamming it); Heal recharges a touch faster at max rank.
  • Dragon Lord: Fire Breath now burns for full damage at every stage and to anyone who walks through it, and leaves a delayed burn that flares up a few seconds after you were last hit. Great Fireball's range is slightly shorter.

Bug Fixes

  • Gold no longer ticks up while you're sitting in the lobby - the gold display now correctly shows as disabled when you're out of a match.
  • New accounts could drop into a match with no backpack (so shop consumables had nowhere to go) - every Mob now starts with one.

v0.9.0

Jun 16, 2026

New Features

  • Every Mob's ultimate now erupts with its own signature effect - Hero's holy nova, the Dragon Lord's wave of dragonfire, Stalker's shadow-strike, Banshee's requiem pulse, the Orc's blood-rage aura, and more.
  • Hero's Divine Wrath now Blinds every enemy Mob it hits for 2.5s - a blinded Mob that tries to cast fizzles the ability and wastes the cooldown.
  • New realm switcher: hop between the Production and Test servers right from your character list (or pick one before logging in) - no need to re-enter your account. The Test realm is now open to everyone.
  • Mob Selection now shows each Mob's role at a glance - like "Ranged Assassin", "Mage Tank", or "Hybrid Bruiser".

Improvements

  • Switching Mobs outside a match (or during the pick phase) now starts you with all abilities off cooldown.
  • Cleaner login screen: trimmed the old stat clutter off the top bar.
  • Banshee's Screaming Life reliably refreshes off any enemy-Mob damage now (including damage-over-time) and clears its cooldown on your bar instantly.

Balance

  • Demon: Great Fireball is now a heavy, high-cost nuke on a long cooldown; Heal cools down slower.
  • Warlock: Energy Beam, Fiery Bomb, and the Great Energy Beam ult all hit just as hard but come up less often.
  • Necromancer: Sudden Death ult hits harder; ranking up Summon Undead now shortens its cooldown instead of adding more undead.
  • Stalker: Assassinate is now a high-impact finisher on a long cooldown; Life Steal range and damage trimmed.
  • Hunter: Lay Traps hit much harder and rank up to a snappy cooldown; Enter Hunt ult comes up a bit slower.
  • Dragon Lord: Fire Wave is now a focused cone instead of a lane-wide blanket - cheaper, longer cooldown.
  • Black Knight: King's Blessing is stronger but on a much longer cooldown; Vanish is shorter.
  • Hero: Divine Wrath hits much harder (and now blinds) on a longer cooldown.
  • Orc Berserker: Bloodthirst is now spammable, Extreme Haste is much faster, and Shout slows harder.
  • Amazon: Knife Onslaught now unleashes a rapid 28-knife stream; Maneuver dashes longer.
  • Banshee: Love Song holds enemies a touch longer.
  • Behemoth: Rock Throw costs slightly more mana.
  • Mana regeneration retuned across all roles.

Bug Fixes

  • Behemoth's Solidify now actually reduces the damage you take - the armor buff was showing but not applying in combat.
  • Fixed the auto-updater closing the client / refusing to launch when an update check failed - the client now starts normally and updates quietly in the background.
  • Fixed missing catalogs and an empty shop / Mob-select that could appear after certain updates.
  • Arena map fixes.

v0.8.0

Jun 15, 2026

New Features

  • The Club weapon line - 12 new melee weapons built to crack armor and disrupt fights instead of out-damaging. A third melee path alongside Axes (raw power) and Swords (crit): clubs punch through enemy armor and bring the utility.
  • Standout clubs: Hammer of Wrath hits harder against low-health Mobs, Chaos Mace cuts the healing enemies receive, Skull Staff banks armor-shredding souls off minion kills, Battle Hammer chills with a stacking slow, Dragon Hammer has a chance to breathe fire, and Thunder Hammer erupts in lightning every few hits.
  • Two clubs have activated abilities: Cranial Basher stuns everything in a cone in front of you, and Orcish Maul roars a Warcry that buffs your whole team's attack damage and move speed.

Improvements

  • New shop filters: browse gear by Armor Penetration, Execute, and Grievous Wounds.

Bug Fixes

  • Minimap clicks and drags near its left edge now register properly instead of being silently dropped.

v0.7.0

Jun 13, 2026

New Features

  • Skill points! As you level up in a match you now earn points to rank up your Mob's abilities - bigger damage and heals, shorter cooldowns, and stronger effects. Click the gold "+" above an ability or press Ctrl+1-4 to spend a point.
  • Your ultimate (4th ability) now unlocks at match levels 11, 14, and 17 - choose when to invest.
  • In a match you must learn an ability before you can cast it; out of match (at the temple) everything is free to practice.
  • Reach level 20 and your Mob earns its Promotion - a promoted Mob regenerates health and mana noticeably faster (+50%).

Improvements

  • Every Mob's abilities have been retuned around the new 3-rank system.
  • Mob & Rune Selection now pre-highlights the Mob you brought into the draft, and long ability descriptions no longer get cut off.
  • Switching Mobs now updates the gold "selected" ring instantly instead of lagging a beat behind.

Bug Fixes

  • Downed Mobs no longer slowly tick health back up while waiting to respawn.

v0.6.2

Jun 12, 2026

Improvements

  • During the match-start draft, your rune picks now show up on your spellbar instantly as you choose them, instead of lagging behind your last-saved runes.
  • Recall, Match Shop, Ping, Scoreboard, and Mob & Rune Selection can now all be rebound in the Hotkeys window and Options > Controls.
  • Reworked and expanded the temple base area - big thanks to our mapper Baruch!

Bug Fixes

  • Necromancer's undead and Stalker's clones can now be attacked by lane minions, turrets, and jungle monsters - and they go down faster - so you can no longer farm or push risk-free with summoned pets.
  • Fixed Stalker's clones disappearing from your own screen when you Vanished - they now correctly stay visible (faded) to you and your team while staying hidden from enemies.

v0.6.1

Jun 11, 2026

New Features

  • Match Draft: every match now opens with a 30-second Mob & Rune draft - lock in the Mob you'll play and fine-tune your runes before the first minions spawn. Your teammates each take a different Mob, so no duplicates on a team. Enemy picks stay hidden until the draft ends.

Improvements

  • Towers, inhibitors, and the core now hide their health bar until they can actually be damaged, so you can read at a glance which structures are still protected.
  • The Old Widow now prowls into the center at the 10-minute mark (with a match-wide heads-up) instead of lurking there from the start.
  • Unspotted enemies on the scoreboard now show a full health bar (assumed full) instead of a blank one.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed several random mid-match server crashes tied to minion and jungle-monster targeting - matches should run far more stably.
  • Fixed rubber-banding when walking near players entering or leaving stealth, or when sharing a bush with a teammate.

v0.6.0

Jun 10, 2026

New Features

  • Match History: a new top-bar button opens your last 10 matches - click any one to pull up its full scoreboard again.
  • Towers and inhibitors now go out with a bang - a giant, team-colored electric eruption when one is destroyed.

Improvements

  • Big tower-combat glow-up: every tower shows its charge orb from the start of the match, holds it fully charged, then fires the bolt straight out of the orb with a sharp crack where it lands - all team-colored (green for yours, red for enemies).
  • Towers no longer occasionally fire a beat late - the shot now lands right as the orb finishes charging.
  • Last-hit gold now rains down as a shower of coin piles (cha-ching, cha-ching) instead of a single coin.
  • Hover a rune on the scoreboard to see its name, cooldown, range, and description - just like the spellbar.
  • Match-results polish: gem rewards have color-coded hover tooltips, the MVP dice spells out its bonus, and long names no longer get cut off.

Bug Fixes

  • Victory and Defeat are now always credited to the correct team at the end of a match.

v0.5.0

Jun 9, 2026

New Features

  • Jungle camps are here. Hunt the neutral Crystal Spiders in each side's jungle for a mana-regeneration buff, or take down the contested Old Widow in the center for a venom buff that poisons your basic attacks - plus gold for your team. Camps respawn a few minutes after they fall, and you lose your buff if you go down.
  • Towers now telegraph their shots: a red lock-on marks who they're targeting, a crackling orb charges up on the tower, and a lightning bolt arcs out when they fire.
  • Last-hit a minion and a stack of coins pops over your head - bigger rewards make bigger piles (gold to platinum to crystal).
  • Minion-wave banners: a "spawning soon" heads-up, then a "Minions have spawned!" call showing your team's minion as the first wave marches out.

Improvements

  • Pinging the world now uses a hold-and-aim wheel: hold your Ping key (default V) over the map, flick a direction to pick the ping type, and release to send.
  • Recall (B) and Ping (V) are now listed and rebindable in Options > Controls > Keybinds.
  • Match results got a gold facelift, team-colored skulls on the Victory/Defeat banner, a lucky-dice marker on the MVP, and a hover tooltip breaking down every gem's drop chance.
  • Panning the minimap no longer accidentally drags the whole minimap window around.

Balance

  • Killing enemy caster minions now pays more gold.
  • Base mana regeneration lowered across all roles, so mana matters more in extended fights.
  • Banshee's Screaming Life now has a slightly longer cooldown.

Bug Fixes

  • The minimap now clears leftover dots and structures the moment a match ends instead of leaving them frozen.
  • Poison Dagger's damage-over-time now properly credits you for kills, assists, and the death recap.

v0.4.0

Jun 7, 2026

New Features

  • Ranks are here. Every Mob you play now climbs the Adventurer's Path - from Rookgaarder all the way up to Master. Win ranked matches to raise your rating and earn higher titles.
  • See your rank everywhere: when you inspect another player, on the end-of-match results next to every name, and in your friends list.
  • Skill-based matchmaking. Matches now pull together players of similar skill and split the two teams as evenly as possible, so games are closer and fairer.
  • Invite friends to your party by name. Right-click anyone on your VIP list and pick "Invite to Party" - they get a clean Accept / Reject prompt, wherever either of you are on the map.
  • Friends on your VIP list now glow orange while they're in a match, and hovering one shows their current rank.

Improvements

  • Towers, inhibitors, and the enemy core now stick to the edge of your minimap when they're off-screen, so you can always tell where every structure sits.
  • The login patch-notes panel got a gold facelift and now opens the newest notes automatically.

v0.3.0

Jun 6, 2026

New Features

  • New players now start as the Rat - your very first Mob: a fast, squishy scrapper. Bite an adjacent enemy to infect them with a festering disease that ticks damage over time, and Lunge to dash forward in a trail of smoke.
  • Win gems at the end of every match - Diamond, Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald and Amethyst. Rarer gems drop less often, and winning or earning MVP improves your odds. They're kept safe in your Purse for a jewelry shop coming later.
  • Forfeit button: the first player to forfeit a match takes a heavy Loss and is kicked out the moment they confirm. After that, everyone else can leave for free and the losing team's Loss is waived.
  • Rebind your ability and rune keys: the Hotkeys window now lets you set any key for each of your six Mob ability / rune slots.
  • A live match clock (MM:SS) now ticks on the minimap and in your matchmaking status.

Improvements

  • Chat is now a draggable, resizable overlay that remembers where you put it and darkens while you type so the backlog stays readable.
  • Reworked chat keys: Enter opens chat and sends, Tab picks your channel (Local / Team / All / Party), Shift+Tab flips between chat tabs, and Shift+Enter opens chat straight onto a channel.
  • Lost a match someone forfeited? You'll see "Tainted Match - No Loss" instead of a Defeat.
  • Self-cast rune effects now follow you as you move, and item cooldown dials now fill up correctly as they wind down.
  • Ping and FPS now sit neatly in the top bar next to your UI buttons.

Bug Fixes

  • The auto-updater now cleans up files removed from the client instead of leaving them behind forever.
  • Returning to movement right after sending a chat message is now reliable.

v0.2.1

Jun 4, 2026

New Features

  • Runes now fly: every rune launches its own image - spun to point exactly where you aimed - trailing a colored aura unique to that rune, so the whole match can see who fired what and where.
  • Cast a rune on yourself and it shows it: friendly runes rise up off you, but blast yourself with an attack rune and it drops straight onto your head - womp womp.
  • A colored glow pools under you as your rune flies - your battlefield signature as the caster.
  • Necromancer's Sudden Death is now an aimed skillshot: hurl a giant death skull at a spot and a shroud of darkness collapses onto it.

Improvements

  • Rune hits burst with their color; misses puff into smoke instead of a "MISS" tag.

Bug Fixes

  • A stray buttons panel no longer floats over the game view.
  • Teammate ping impacts glow correctly again.

v0.2.0

Jun 4, 2026

New Features

  • Teammate pings: right-click the minimap to ping for your team, or hold right-click and flick on the world map for a typed ping (Attack / Enemy Missing / Retreat / Defend).
  • Every ping shows a mugshot of your Mob in a glowing ring, on the field and on the minimap.
  • 30+ new shop items, headlined by two full weapon lines: a 10-tier Axe ladder for attack-damage bruisers and a 10-tier Sword ladder for crit assassins.
  • Two-handed weapons that take both hands and refund both items they replace.
  • Runes are now aimed skillshots: land the hit or whiff for a MISS; aiming at a wall or out of range costs nothing.
  • The Sewers: the arena's first underground area and a one-way route into the jungle - a tight, trappable tunnel with a single ladder out into your side's jungle.
  • Patch notes now show right here on the login screen.

Improvements

  • New chat with four color-coded scopes (Local / All / Team / Party) you cycle with Tab while typing.
  • Sortable post-match results, with your team always listed first.
  • Bigger, clearer minimap you can drag to scout and right-click to ping.
  • Draggable spell bar that remembers its spot, with full rune tooltips.
  • Crisper item and Mob portraits across the shop, loadout, selection, and minimap.
  • Tab reliably opens the scoreboard during play.
  • Your first melee swing now lands the instant you reach an enemy.

Balance

  • Minions have less HP, so lanes push and fights resolve faster.
  • The strongest new items carry real trade-offs - some cost max HP, speed, or armor.

Bug Fixes

  • Minions no longer stall at the front of their lane.
  • Health and mana bars no longer collapse out of view.

v0.1.2

Jun 3, 2026

New Features

  • Active-item shields: some gear now grants a clickable barrier you can pop in a fight.
  • Over 20 new shop items to build your Mob around.
  • Enemies and objectives now surface on the minimap so you can read the map at a glance.

Improvements

  • Shop items you can't afford yet are tinted so you can see your next buy instantly.

v0.1.1

May 28, 2026

New Features

  • A live scoreboard tracks kills, deaths, assists, CS, gear, and runes during the match.
  • Super minions now spawn after an inhibitor falls and push the lane hard.
  • Big in-match moments now announce with a banner across the top of the screen.

v0.1.0

May 20, 2026

New Features

  • Brand-new arena map with dual base towers to siege and defend.

Balance

  • Minions now scale up the longer a match runs, so late-game pushes hit harder.

Bug Fixes

  • Ability cooldown indicators are smoother and more accurate.
